Q. What happens if a scorecards gets wet?
A. A great deal of effort has gone into the technical specifications of the scorecards and consequently they are remarkably resilient to punishment by the golfer and the elements.
Awfully wet scorecards should not be entered into the reader. These scorecards can be entered manually into the system. Alternatively, if you do not require the results immediately you may leave the scorecard to dry (approximately half-an-hour is sufficient time) and then enter the scorecard into the card reader.
Q. What happens if you mark and incorrect score on the scorecard?
A. If you make a mistake marking a score, you simply cross out the incorrect score and place another mark on the correct score. When the scorecard is processed via the mark reader, the acceptance screen will highlight a hole with dual marks. The Golf AutoScore™ system uses predictive error correction, i.e. it will display the most likely score, and the operator can accept the predicted score if correct or make the required adjustment.
